Having started my academic background in the UK, undertaking a 4 year Building Studies Higher National Certificate, I continued my studies at the University of Greenwich, Kent, obtaining a BA and Diploma (Hons) in Architecture, concluding with a course on Professional Studies; a necessary requirement for professional practice and to acquire the registration as a British Architect. After a number of years in Malta, I obtained the local warrant to practice as a local architect.
Most of my energy has been invested in the implementation of projects from concept to completion including the sole management and training of large teams under my guidance and direction. Leadership is not just a position that that steers by direction, but is engrained in the work effort and methodologies of the end product.
After having worked 11 years in London, I took up the idea of travel where after I found myself settling in Malta in 1995 and continued my professional experience. Whilst my arrival to DeMicoli & Associates has been recent, I have been privileged to have enjoyed a varied background working with other practices, handling some of the most interesting projects on the Island, including the Valletta Waterfront, the New City Gate Parliament Building and a number of smaller commercial and residential developments.
MISSION AND GOALS
My mission has always been striving for professionalism and excellence, not only in achieving a quality end result that any client would be satisfied with, but also with uncompromising dedication in how we as a team deliver the end product. Anything less, just won’t do!
I am a craftsman at heart, who enjoys getting his hands dirty, especially if it moves. Also love to explore and will find any excuse to travel, especially overland to stand in awe at the beauty of God’s creation.
