Carved out of the land, the medina is situated on top of the peninsula protecting the lagoon. This will accommodate restaurants, boutiques, shops and amenities. All this is housed in a pedestrian ambience. This hub is accessible by car and will have a car park in its lower levels. The residential development on this peninsula will mainly consist of maisonettes and houses inspired by ethnic forms of settlement. The island’s compact feel will enhance the social interaction factor. It is aimed to be the central meeting place of the development. The Piazza will act as a back drop to the main happenings. The north western area of the project will be dedicated to 3 luxurious villas which will be designed as living quarters for high ranking people.
