EDUCATION
At the age of 19 I left my hometown, Pozzallo, and moved to Milan to attend the Faculty of Architecture at ”Politecnico di Milano” graduating in Architectural Design six years later. During the duration of the course itself, I attended two additional master programs at the Poli.Design, one in retail and the other in hotels interior design. Furthermore, I was also working with several architecture companies during my studies. I took part in the exhibition Atmospheres - 1000 Human environments organized by the Politecnico di Milano during the 2014 Design Week and in the same year I worked on a model inspired by the sketches of Gordon Craig for the sets of the show ‘Per Edward Gordon Craig’, organized by the theater school of Teatro Arsenale. In my final year at the Politecnico, I grew an interest for wineries and the architecture behind them, taking part in a competition for a winery in Valpolicella. Following this, I used all the information gathered from this experience and used it for my thesis on a winery in Custoza. After my graduation, I decided to move to Malta for a new start and new work experience where at the, time I had the possibility to become part of this great team.
SKILLS
I'm a hard worker, quick to pick up new skills and wishful to give my best. I also have lots of ideas and enthusiasm. My strengths are a good ability to work in a team and to work under high-pressure, having great attention to detail. I like to keep myself updated on the latest design news. I’m also a well- organized person and very reliable.
PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
I've been working at DeMicoli and Associates for the past eight months and since my first day, I joined the project for the Mriehel Towers. I’m working on the project for Smart Supermarket, MCP Car Park in Floriana and I have worked on Evans Project in Valletta.
ECCENTRICITIES
My passions include not only architecture, but also reading (my favorite writer is Andrea De Carlo), and writing. In fact I’m an author for an architecture website. I enjoy running, having taken part in three half marathons while living in Milan. But my biggest passion is cooking (and eating). I can spend whole days in a kitchen!
