Following his studies at the Bartlett and the Architectural Association, School of Architecture, Steve's approach to the urban landscape is by understanding it to be a system or metabolism of ecologies with architecture being the catalyst between society, culture and the environment. His education had strong emphasis on computational techniques and digital fabrication and uses this toolset to explore innovative, thought provoking and sustainable ways for a responsive, adaptable and contemporary architecture. In 2010 Steve opened Dfab.Studio - a design and fabrication studio providing design and laser cutting services specifically aimed at the architecture, artistic and design fields.
